Sandy Bay hosts Final Visitation
Archbishop Adrian Doyle with Fr Michael Tate at Sandy Bay

One of the pastoral duties of a bishop is to visit each parish on a three year cycle. Archbishop Doyle chose the Sandy Bay-Taroona Parish for his final Visitation during his term as our Bishop. A plaque marking the occasion was unveiled in the foyer of Holy Spirit Church. As the plaque reads, the Archbishop was “the much loved and respected pastor of the parish for many years” (sixteen in fact). He is pictured with the current parish priest, Fr Michael Tate.
