BlueLine Jobs Contract
The gang at Blueline

BlueLine Employment’s passion for results has won a new five-year contract to deliver disability employment services across Southern Tasmania.

Manager Jessamine Gibb said the new contract with the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations was a tribute to the passionate commitment of BlueLine staff.

“This means we will continue to be responsible for developing work placements for people with a disability in Southern Tasmania until March 2018.

“It is a reward for our belief in our service, our commitment to ethical standards and our determination to ensure that our placements meet the needs of both employers and people with disabilities.

“We always start with the client and then cold canvas potential employers until we find a placement that works for both parties.”

Ms Gibb said half of BlueLine’s eight employees have a disability, so the organisation practises what it preaches and strongly believes in the services it delivers.
“BlueLine is working with 98 current clients, including 31needing ongoing support.

“Around half of the people we place in jobs have an intellectual or psychiatric disability, just under a quarter have a physical disability and others have a range of disabilities including hearing and vision loss.”
