Blue Christmas Mass of Hope

Christmas is a difficult time for people who have experienced loss, grief or disconnection from the sentiments of those around them at Christmas. People can feel broken and the cheer of the Christmas Masses can seem out of step with their own life.

After the madness of the lead up to Christmas Day, there is often a ‘blue’ time for people feeling sad, alone or distressed. The Parish of Moonah-Lutana wishes to invite you to their first Blue Christmas Midnight Mass (come on Tuesday December 24 at 11.30p.m. for music and slides).  This Mass is aimed at reflecting on the hope that Christ’s birth brings to the world no matter what is happening in our lives at present.

You are welcome to stay after Mass for light refreshments.

If you wish to share your faith in a spirit of gentle love and reflection then come and join them. Parishioner Brenda Brazendale from the organising committee says, “We look forward to welcoming you all.”

The Church is at the end of Hopkins St in Moonah and there is ample parking on site.
