Award for Louise
Louise Paine receives her Disability Achievement Award.

BlueLine Employment receptionist Louise Paine’s achievements in overcoming disability were recognised at the 2012 Tasmanian community achievement awards.

Louise, from Lutana, was a finalist in the MAIB Disability Achievement Award.

Louise has made a significant contribution to the community despite coping with Bipolar Disorder.

As well as working with BlueLine, she is a founding member and former secretary of the Eureka Club House, which works with suicidal young people and others with mental health issues.

Louise says people should no longer be frightened by mental illness.

“A disability or a mental illness should never define who you are – it should be no more than a part of you.

“Everyone has gifts and talents that are unique and sometimes it is just finding the right people to support you.  That is what we do every day at BlueLine Employment.”
