2015 Synod of Bishops on the family

To assist in the preparations for the 2015 Synod of Bishops on the family the Vatican has asked each Conference of Catholic Bishops from around the world to consult with a range of individuals and organisations on a number of important questions and prepare a formal response. These formal responses will provide the basis for the Synod’s working document.

To develop its own response the Australian Conference of Catholic Bishops has asked each diocese to prepare a response to a list of 30 questions. Archbishop Julian would like to invite all Catholics in the Archdiocese of Hobart to assist in the development of the diocesan response by offering their own reflections on these questions through an online survey. You are not required to answer every question.

You may find it helpful to review the Relatio Synodi – the final document of the Extraordinary Synod held in October 2014 – before completing the survey.

The online survey will be open until midnight 10 February 2015.

If you have any questions regarding the survey please contact the Director of the Archdiocese’s Office for Life, Marriage and Family, Dr Brigid McKenna on (03) 6208 6036.
