Practitioners - Family Dispute Resolution (Tasmania)
North West Tasmania

CatholicCare Tasmania is looking for a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner to join our team and work in both Burnie and Devonport, in Tasmania’s North West.

The Location:

What you bring to the role:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Eligibility for membership of APS, AASW, or similar recognised professional association.
• Qualifications in family dispute resolution (FDR) and registration as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, along with demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in FDR, including mediating with families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Extensive knowledge of Domestic Violence Legislation, Child Safety Legislation and the Family Law Act
• Well-developed written work including report writing, case notes, data collection, data entry and computer literacy skills
• Current Drivers Licence

Remuneration:
This position is full-time working 38 hours per week. The minimum remuneration package is Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Level 6 for accredited FDRP’s. Proof of current registration and qualifications is required as part of the recruitment process.
