Retreat in Everyday Life
This Retreat is based on “The Song of the Seed” by Macrina Wiederkerh
The seed is the Word of God, and the song is your daily life centred around this Word.  The parable of the sower and the seed from Luke’s Gospel is the text for our Retreat.  The Sower, God, believes in the land of your heart and wants to be intimately involved in the daily, dusty, ordinariness of your life.  God longs to be gracious to you: longs to share an intimate relationship with you.
Come away for seven mornings, or as many as you can, from the busy and sometimes noisy activities of your life to spend some quiet time in silence and prayer with your God who desires to love you into life.
It is a time to focus on the “one thing necessary.” (Luke 10:42)

THE YEAR OF PAUL

In announcing a special Pauline year to begin on June 28th 2008,  Pope Benedict wrote: "The success of his apostolate depended above all on his personal involvement in proclaiming the Gospel with total dedication to Christ, a dedication that feared neither risk, difficulty, or persecution."
