OUR LADY’S ICON –Next Sunday, 7th December, before the 10.00am Mass, the Icon of Our Lady in the side chapel at St. John’s will be blessed in its new location. For many years it graced the sanctuary in the Church of Our Lady of Victories at Lutana and we invite past parishioners of the Goodwood-Lutana Parish to be present.
Christmas Family Mass

Wanted - children to be angels, shepherds, townsfolk during the Gospel enactment. A rehearsals will be held on Sunday - 14th and 21st December following the 10.00am Mass - Please allow about an hour. PARISH CHRISTMAS LUNCH Reservations have been made at Wrest Point Coffee Shop for a Buffet Luncheon on Friday, 12th December 2008 at 12.00pm. The cost per person is $21.50. Reserve your place now with Sita on 62726363 or Kay Grainger .
COMBINED CHRISTIAN CHURCHES CAROL SINGING at Glenorchy Council Chambers Lawn 22nd and 23rd December, 7 – 8 pm. Our Parish has been invited to contribute singers and musicians to be part of the Carol Singing on the lawns in front of the Council Chambers. Two practices have been scheduled at the Glenorchy Uniting Church: on Tuesday 9th and 16th December at 6pm. The first one will be mostly decision making. If you’re interested, or if you know you won’t be available, would you please let me know.
