CHILDRENS LITURGY –
There will be NO children’s liturgy at Sacred Heart Church for the month of January.

Wednesday 25th February and Sunday 29th February
2009 will be another special year for Catholic Youth Ministry. A pilgrimage around Tasmania visiting each Cross will be held between Wednesday 25th February and Sunday 29th February. (Why not buy a calendar and see where all the Crosses are!) Our Parish Cross (situated at MacKillop Hill) will be the 10th Station on the
Pilgrimage and we will host an event on Friday 27th February.
There will also be another Archdiocesan Palm Sunday pilgrimage.

On August 8th, 2009, it will be 100 years since the death of Blessed Mary MacKillop. The Sisters of St Joseph are offering two ten-day pilgrimages (18-28 May and 12-22 October) visiting significant sites associated with
Mary’s life and providing opportunity for prayer and reflection. The pilgrimages begin in Sydney and continue on to Melbourne, Ballarat, Hamilton, Portland, Penola and Adelaide. Early bookings are recommended as each tour will only have 36 participants. Brochures are available in the churches or email the national co-ordinator -

SACRED HEART CHURCH – ULVERSTONE - All children are welcome to participate in the Christmas Eve Vigil Mass. There will be practice each Sunday morning leading up to Christmas Eve at Mass during Children’s Liturgy.
Could parents please bring a plate of supper to share after the Children’s Mass on Christmas Eve. Thank you.
