Family Support/ Early Support Worker

Role:Centacare Tasmania seeks to employ the following suitably experienced and qualified people to work as part of a client focused, creative and supportive team. The positions will be within an emergency accommodation service for Young Women experiencing homelessness.

Applicants should have tertiary qualifications in Community Services or related discipline. It would be desirable that applicants have had experience working within the SAAP sector or with clients in crisis.

Project Officer
The Project officer is a 6 months position that will focus on supporting the team to develop quality assured systems, policies and procedures. Position Descriptions:Project Officer – Young Womens Refuge (click here)

Team Leader
The role of the Team Leader will be to manage day to day service delivery, support staff in delivering services to clients, provision of staff supervision and performance management and monitoring Quality Assurance. Position Descriptions: Program Team Leader – Young Womens Refuge (click here)

Support Workers
The role of support workers will be to provide the highest quality support and assistance possible to young women accessing the service through a crisis intervention and case management model. Position Descriptions: Support Worker – Young Womens Refuge (click here)

Casual Relief Staff
The role of casual relief staff will be to provide support to clients as required. Persons employed within this position may have offered to them hours within a variety of Centacare Tasmania’s support programs. Position Descriptions:Relief Support Worker – Young Womens Refuge (click here)
